Sippy Software develops and operates cutting-edge telecoms services & software. At Sippy we aim for two things: building/operating great communications software and services, and providing in-depth help to our customers to make sure they are successful.

As a developer at Sippy you will be a key member in the development of core products and solutions offered. We are looking for a qualified front end developer wanting to grow into a full stack engineer and work on large scale wholesale VoIP solutions. You will help implement new features and ideas into our suite of products. We are looking for an experienced agile oriented developer who is able to work with our globally dispersed team in solving the problems identified by our Support, Sales, and Senior Management teams.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Help champion, design, and implement modern UI/UX changes into our web based applications.
- Participate in deep architectural discussions, understand business requirements and can translate them into technical requirements or procedural improvements.
- Attend regular virtualized agile ceremonies standups, planning, review and retrospectives.
- Collaboratively create realistic estimates for size and scope of tasks so we can accurately plan future development and deliver the requirements in a timely manner.
- Work alongside a team of smart engineers – build high quality, reusable code that can be maintained for systems at scale.

Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree / diploma in computer science or engineering or related fields.
- Demonstrable UI and UX experience with expertise.
- Strong experience in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal) is required for communication with our globally dispersed team.
- An Understanding of VoIP Protocols and OpenSource products are a bonus.
- Experience in Python, Go, Shell-scripting are appreciated.
- Results oriented, enjoys working with people to solve technical issues.
