Title of a position: IT System Administrator
Job Location: Odessa, Ukraine.

About the position:
Web Idea is seeking a Linux / Windows Servers Administrator whose primary objective is to support numerous infrastructure servers, network devices, and application/web platforms.
Responsibilities include evaluating, configuring, implementing, and managing a variety of back office servers and network systems including Windows and Linux host servers, IIS, Apache and Nginx web servers, F5 Network and Global Load balancers, Java / PHP web development environments, backup systems, Amazon servers, and file synchronization tools.

Responsibilities include:

- Managing and supporting all internal network external web sites and web-based applications, primarily hosted on Linux Servers.
- Apache, IIS, Nginx configuration
- AWS, Amazon CloudFront
- Working knowledge of Backup Technologies and Enterprise antivirus
- Provide Tier II support for complex Internet-facing environments
- Develop and maintain Linux deployment and security standards
- Create and maintain Linux related documents, tools and monitors
- Maintain existing systems and implement new technologies
- Reports to Department Manager
- Participate in 24x7 on-call support
- Experience managing SuSE Enterprise and Ubuntu Linux
- Experienced in Unix scripting. NAGIOS, PERL and UNIX (Sun Solaris) shell scripting.
- Experience of GIT, writing hook scripts.
- Expert in managing a web environment using LAMP
- Understanding of fundamental networking and distributed computing environment concepts
- Fluent in managing and troubleshooting all common networking and security issues
- Experience planning for and performing backups, restores, snapshots, and disk imaging
- Experience with security products; SSL/VPN/Firewall/IDS
- Expert level with RedHat, CentOS and other applicable distributions.
- Expertise with Apache and other web servers.
- Expertise with operational support of MySQL.
- Virtualization & cloud experience.
- Familiarity with security best practices
- Experience with build automation, monitoring, and test suite tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
