AltexSoft, a software R&D company that provides software engineering and IT Consulting services is looking for UX/UI designer for Kharkov office.
Required skills:
• 2+ years of experience as a UX/UI designer, interaction designer or similar;
• Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles and techniques;
• Fluency in best practices for information architecture and design for web, mobile and Desktop;
• Portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating user-centered design solutions;
• Ability to understand client needs and translate them into tasks;
• Highly proficient in prototyping tools such as OmniGraffle, Axure, Balsamiq, etc.;
• Hands-on design skills, wireframes, prototyping, heuristic evaluation and user research;
• Ability to explain and demonstrate the value of UX design decisions to business people and engineers;
• Good knowledge in English, both spoken and written (upper-intermediate level or higher);
• An eye for details;
• Sense of humor and creativity.
Desired skills:
• Experience working on mobile and desktop applications interfaces;
• Experience using web analytics and statistical tools and methods;
• Experience in performing split-testing and usability testing.
Responsibilities:
• Take part in requirements gathering, user research and market analysis;
• Develop and document user personas, storyboards, interaction workflows, information architecture;
• Develop detailed wireframes and mockups;
• Present and discuss project deliverables with a client;
• Participate in usability testing, split-testing, web-analytics;
• Consult clients in the field of user interfaces, perform UX audits of existing interfaces;
• Collaborate with UX experts, designers and engineers.
