We are searching for a qualified and an ambitious individual to perform maintenance and repairs of complex equipment with limited or no supervision in a highly skilled, safe, and professional manner. Responsibilities will include the maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of equipment and tools while using a high degree of independent judgment.
Job Description:
Troubleshoot vehicles and construction equipment to detect faults & malfunctions.
Perform maintenance and determine extent of repair required for equipment such as Motor graders, Loaders, Excavators, Backhoes, skid steer loaders, Cranes, along with a fleet of trucks.
Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
Trouble shooting electronics, hydraulics & pneumatics.
Test repaired equipment for proper performance.
Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work.
Service attachments and working tools.
Keep daily records of reports and documentation.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or post-secondary degree is required.
A minimum of 3-5 years hands-on equipment troubleshooting, maintenance and repair experience.
Certified crane mechanic through a national crane training and certification company.
Understanding of the operation of heavy construction equipment.
Knowledge of diesel and gas engines, hydraulics, pneumatics and 24V electrical systems.
Proper equipment maintenance and repair procedures.
Follow workplace safety requirements and procedures.
Ability to follow direction and work well within a team environment.
Communication skills.
Organization skills.
