For our client – an international automotive company - we are looking for the Candidates for the position of:

Quality Engineer
ref. no: QE/RZ/PL/02
Location: Poland

Requirements:

- Bachelor's in Engineering (or related technical field) and/or equivalent education/experience
- 1-2 years of experience in Quality Technician role (Automotive Quality is preferred)
- ISO/TS 16949:2009 knowledge
- Strong problem solving skills (8-D and 5 Why tools)
- AIAG standards knowledge (APQP, D/PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, DOE, PPAP, etc.)
- Dimensional and Mechanical measurement
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and task completion dates with a lean and flat organization
- Dynamism and pragmatism, demonstrated change management skills
- Result driven and self-starter
- Computer literate, Microsoft Office and SAP knowledge
- Fluent English
- Certified auditor and/or gauge control experience a plus
- Six Sigma Greenbelt, preferred

Key responsibilities:

- Own the 8D process for customer issues
- Utilize lean manufacturing methodologies and problem solving/troubleshooting tools to identify root cause of issues and implement corrective actions in receiving inspection and/or on the assembly lines
- Develop and perform appropriate Product/process audit plans
- Conduct capability studies, and ensure that they are properly performed and documented for special characteristics, and internal requirements are met
- Assist launch teams in conducting APQP activities to ensure timely PPAP review and approval
- Ensure that the quality systems are maintained in accordance with the ISO/TS-16949 and Quality System standards.
- Establish and maintain Quality documentation
- Operate the Quality Lab
